About Dr. Senn

As a native of California, Dr. Silvano Senn grew up with two overriding passions: one for art, and one for science.  And while other people may have felt compelled to choose one passion and sacrifice the other, the thousands of people who have benefited from Dr. Senn's caring, skilled whole health dentistry can unanimously be grateful that hedidn't choose at all:he combined them both! 

Since earning his DDS from the University of California (San Francisco) and performing a rigorous General Practice Residency at the same school, for 27 years- and counting - Dr. Senn has brought an innovative artistic and scientific vision to the field of general dental health.  And indeed, it's this brilliant vision - one that treats the whole patient and not just dental issues - that continues to successfully guide him today in his environmentally-friendly, incredibly relaxing Sebastopol-based practice, which has been serving patients since 2005.

Of course, if you ask Dr. Senn about his many accomplishments and deep knowledge base - including his remarkable work in Public Health Dentistry, and his membership in the ADA, CDA and many other credential-based professional associations - you may be surprised that the first thing you'll hear from him isn't about any of this at all: it will be about his wonderful team. As one of the truest team members you'll ever find, Dr. Senn understands deeply, and better than most, that it takes a highly-trained, cohesive, efficient team to deliver the highest standards of care, service and results for patients.

And just as humbly, if you ask Dr. Senn what energizes him most about his job, he won't talk about himself or his impressive skills.  Instead, he'll gladly talk about the community that has embraced him - and the feeling is mutual:

Also committed to volunteer work, currently Dr. Senn is helping a pair of children from the Russia's deeply challenged Chernobyl area.  Of course, if you asked Dr. Senn, he'd say that it was the other way around: helping others and having his work make a real, healthy difference - both personally and to the environment - is not a gift that he gives others. 

It's a gift that others give him!
